There is something really special about listening to a memoir in audiobook form. One of our favorites is I’m Glad My Mom Died by actress Jennette McCurdy, but it’s a bit of a difficult listen as she discusses the abuse she suffered at the hands of her mother growing up.
If you can’t handle that, then we recommend The Woman in Me by Britney Spears which is another amazing memoir available in audiobook format.
11. The Striker by Ana Huang
Ana Huang is a well-known name in the romance genre, and The Striker is one of her top titles. If you love listening to romance stories, you will love any and all of her books. Be aware, though, that many of them contain explicit content, so you won’t want to listen to them while grandchildren are around.

12. Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
Last on our list of the best audiobooks, but certainly not least, is the Sci-Fi novel Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir, which has routinely made the list of top audiobooks on Amazon.
The story of an astronaut, some of the text did have to be changed to make the audiobook with the approval of the author. If that doesn’t convince you to listen to this audiobook, we aren’t sure what will!
